An artist asks his friends if it would be embarrassing to attempt to sell his work of art. His friends tell him no, but he would need to find someone who really likes poplar trees to sell it to. The Les Artistes a series of 6 lithographs which appeared in the CHARIVARI : 4 of them between April 5, 1848 and May 24, 1849. The remaining 2 on January 19 and May 12, 1865.
