Tableaux (After Kandinsky)

Notes from Sept. 14-15 1986 suggest that Lazarof began thinking about various sections of Tableaux and began writing out descriptions of each section. The notes found on the hotel paper show's Lazarof thinking about specific Kandisiky works such as "Dreamy Improvisation" (1913) and the "Impression" series from 1911. Lazarof goes through each section and how the music connects to art. In this folder, we find sketches and drafts for Tabeluex 1-8.
