A man works on the box for the 1955 President's Committee on Employment of the Physically Handicapped Award to be presented to Helen Keller. The inside cover of the box reads, "This trophy and box were designed and made by students in the commercial art, leathergoods and jewelry classes and the occupational therapy woodworking shop of the Institute for the Crippled and Disabled 23rd St. and 1st Ave., New York City."
