Arnold Friedmann

Formal portrait of Arnold Friedmann, Head of the Department of Textiles Clothing and Environmental Arts then tenured Professor of Design until his retirement in 1990 when he became Professor Emeritus. Upon the publication of his Critical Study of Interior Design Education (1968), he became a major moving force in the field of design education and continued designing, lecturing and writing well after his retirement.
