This week's guest on “Report from Santa Fe” is Judy Chicago, feminist activist, artist, and author of several books including "Through the Flower: My Struggle as a Woman Artist." Chicago talks about her life, her desire to teach through art, and her iconic works The Dinner Party and The Birth Project. She also talks about creating a series of drawings and photographs My Accident with her husband Donald Woodman that chronicle her experiences with vulnerability and pain after being hit by a truck while on her weekly Sunday-morning run. The interview concludes with a discussion about Chicago's contributions to art education, including developing a curriculum for teaching about women's contributions to history and women's erasure from history.
