Eugene Speicher. (Bellows) / Bellows and Speicher met in 1907 in the gym on West Fifty-seventh Street in New York City. They shared an active interest in sports and in their shared vocation, art. After their marriages they became a foursome--a friendship that lasted until Bellows' death in 1925. (Mason)
