Imprint and date from Metropolitan Museum of Art copy. On double leaves. Woodblock printed book; ink and color on paper. Chapin copy lacks colophon present in copy held by Metropolitan Museum of Art; Metropolitan Museum copy gives illustrator name in form: 立斎廣重先生 Ryûsai Hiroshige sensei. Chapin copy and Metropolitan Museum copy bound in substantially different order. Based on comparison with other institutions holding this work, Chapin Library has only one volume of a four-volume set, possibly lacking several pages. Rebound and interleaved with stiffer paper; stab-stitched, stitching broken.
