A Fitchburg State contigent traveled to the campus of Colorado College in Colarado Springs to take part in the Lily Endowment Workshop on the Liberal Arts (LEWOLTA). They spent two weeks discussing with colleagues from 25 other institutions nationwide the major issues confronting liberal arts programs. The workshop also allowed the groups to further explore Fitchburg State's new Liberal Arts and Sciences Program, a wide-reaching effort that reworks the general education program required of all undergraduates.
