Multi-disciplinary artist, curator, and art critic Tom Grabosky was raised in Braintree, Massachusetts. Grabosky's drawings entered the print collection of the Boston Public Library through the gift of John D. Merriam, whose interest in book illustrations grew into a passion for fantasy art.<br><br>Critical funding to support long-term preservation of and enhanced public access to Boston Public Library collections, including this one, was provided by the <a href="https://www.associatesbpl.org/" target="_blank">Associates of the Boston Public Library</a>.
