'There are many conservation-related activities at the New Bedford Whaling Museum. Objects of all descriptions, including paper manuscripts, scrimshaw, and art require occasional treatment. Here, New Bedford Whaling Museum intern D. Jordan Berson and volunteer R. M. Riefstahl examine a deteriorated antique frame. Riefstahl is a decades-long volunteer whose career in art museum curation makes his experience a valuable asset to the NBWM. Pictured: D. Jordan Berson and R. M. Riefstahl. Location: New Bedford Whaling Museum.'
