Bloomfield & Otis Pianos and Weber Piano-Fortes are carried by the Flaherty Company on Washington Street. The card image shows the Boston Coliseum, site of the 1872 World's Peace Jubilee and International Musical Festival. It was held in Boston in 1872 to commemorate the end of the Franco-Prussian War. The Boston Coliseum, which housed the event, was designed by William Preston and intended to be a temporary structure. The event was organized by composer and bandmaster Patrick Gilmore.
