The process of selecting artists for capital building projects is open to the public. A regional buying committee and a local buying committee select the artist and artwork they believe is most appropriate for building projects. This program has provided artists, as well as the citizens of New Mexico, with an excellent venue to see high-quality artwork in public buildings throughout the state.
