In 1993, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción, the annual fundraising gala known as Cultura Viva was held at the Wang Center for the Performing Arts (now called the Citi Performing Arts Center). Dancing couples fill the dance floor. The sumptuous space has been decorated with streamers and banners.
