Ultralight pilot Jeff Gilkey investigates Leonardo da Vinci’s desire to fly. Da Vinci: The Genius Exhibition at New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science inspired this segment. "As a kid watching birds, it's just this miracle that this animal can just flap its wings and fly and go places you can't go and I think man has had some envy of that." Through photographs long hidden in the Frida Kahlo Museum, curator of Frida Kahlo: Her Photos, Pablo Ortiz Monasterio shares how these images expand our understanding of her life and art. The exhibition traveled to the University of New Mexico Art Museum. Two new leaders in Albuquerque's art world, University of New Mexico Art Museum director Arif Khan and Albuquerque Museum Director Andrew Connors, share their love for art, culture, and history.
