The photograph shows members of the Springfield College gymnastics team completing handstands wearing long-sleeve clothing outside of a building located on Springfield College that appears to be the Administration Building. The three men have name tags in the shapes of triangles representing Springfield College attached to a string which hangs from around their necks as they complete their handstands. The name tag of the one in the middle is slightly different than the other two as there is writing underneath his name while there is just a drawn in triangle for the other two. From left to right is Mike Joseph (Class of 1952), Sam Correnti (Class of 1951), and Frank Wolcott (Class of 1952). Numerous male students look on from behind them watching them complete their handstands. For biographical information on Frank Wolcott, see: https://springfield.as.atlas-sys.com/agents/people/54. The photo was taken by George T. Silcott. Silcott took numerous photos on campus in the year of 1951 making it appear the photo was taken then. Also, the difference in Correnti's name badge compared to the other two is different, which may be due to the fact Silcott is graduating this year while the other two students have one more year of school.
