Partial view of the 30' x 20'ceramic tile mural in the Plaza Betances. The pieces were created by participants, many of them children, in Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción's various programs. The mural features a portrait of Ramón Betances, the 19th century Puerto Rican activist and doctor. The words beneath his portrait read "Sepamos combatir por nuestro honor y nuestra libertad - Ramón Emeterio Betances 1827 - 1898."
