Coin Impression in Wax

This impression of a the face of a Greek coin in brown wax shows only the face of the coin. The face profile has wavy hair, strong chin, and a rounded nose. The impression is deeper on the bottom left, noted by the rim around the coin impression. The convex side of the impression is fairly unmarked with one linear indentation of 0.500", a few smaller linear indentations toward the edge, and various fingerprints. The edge is smooth with one area of folded wax.
