Truth is mighty, the South to the rescue card. Dated 1861. This pro-Confederate trading card depicts a patriotic shield emblazoned with a portrait of Jefferson Davis, above the state seal of Virginia. The shield is decorated with eleven stars, the number of states in the Confederacy from July 2, 1861, until November 28, 1861. Note: Title from item.
