Silliman, Benjamin, 1779-1864 · December 8, 1836
A letter to Edward Hitchcock in which Benjamin Silliman explains that he cannot publish Hitchcock's most recent piece in the next issue of the American Journal of Science since he wants to get the issue out quickly. Silliman offers to assist Hitchcock in obtaining access to more birds and animals from which Hitchcock should be able to make casts of feet.
