A letter in which Benjamin Silliman apologizes to Edward Hitchcock for his delayed response, discusses the shipping of fish as well as printing some of Hitchcock's pieces in The American Journal of Science. Silliman also refers to [Alexandre] Brongniart in regard to the box and questions to be directed to him.
