Her hat is black with red decorations, and her hair frames her face in ringlets. The girl's left hand is resting on a red velvet chair. There is a fireplace on the left side of the painting and a closed door in the back. The mantle has a blue cloth over it, and something white decorated with flowers is placed on the end. The walls are blue and the floor has a blue and white striped carpet. In deep gilded frame. There are various decorations, including sprays of flowers in the corners, ribbons on the center of each side, and inside and outside borders.
