Ponder, pray thee, a presidential platform that consists of a round-the-world love offensive-a daffodil flower policy." View, do, Alan Ginsburg as Secretary of Love. Conceive, if you please, of a world stripped of "war toys," of a nation that substitutes "gentle love persuasion" for legislation. Ruminate, mate, upon a presidential campaign that embraces one whistle-stop love-in after another. And then ponder "flower power." If you believe, ladies and gentlemen, this is Louis Abolafia, 25, of New York City, the only announced candidate for U.S. president in 1968. His name, he claims, means "father of all." His platform can be neatly fitted into the initials ABCLP - Art, Beauty, Culture, Love Party. And he's already got his campaign posters printed.
