Statue of a man with clothing and shield that resembles that of a knight. The man has a halo around his head, his palms are together in prayer position, and a large flag resting against his shoulder. His gaze looks up at the heavens. The plinth the statue stands on reads "Pray for Us" in Latin and the following text: Ora Pro Nobis. In memoriam festivitatis primae lustri quinti post fundationem Instituti Coecorum Adultorum in Bohemia celebratae pragae IV. M. Octob. A.1837
