Four figures stand at the intersection of two narrow country roads. The figures all have animal faces (dog, lamb, rat), but otherwise human hands, feet and bodies. The figures on the left wear fine clothing and one carries a hoop for hoop rolling (a game). The other two appear to be begging. They wear tattered clothes and one carries a walking stick, has closed eyes, and holds onto the shoulder of the other.
