Two different scenes depicted on opposite sides of a central wall. On one side a man in military uniform begs in the street with a sign that reads "Poor Blind Man", and on the other side a smirking man moves coins with a giant shovel and a woman carries one of many large sacks that reads "10 Billion". Text underneath: "Pauvre comme Job! Francais faites l'aumone au dernier de vos Empereurs". Translation:" Poor as Job! French gave alms to your last emperor. "Poor like Job" refers to Job in the Bible, who fails to curse God. In this case the blind man fails to curse the Emperor.
