One man plays violin, one a recorder, and a young man with furrowed brow and pleading eyes holding out an upturned hat for alms. Both men have eyes closed with sockets that look somewhat traumatized. The man in back has a contorted expression and wide-open mouth with somewhat pointed teeth.
