Parker, Jameel · 1999
A mural painted by Jameel Parker in 1999 on a wall of the Harriet Tubman House, commissioned by the United South End Settlements. With a yellow background, the mural depicts various South End community members. It also depicts some of the jazz musicians who performed at the Hi-Hat jazz club, which used to exist at the same site as the Harriet Tubman House before its closure in 1959.
