A mural funded by the Mayor's Mural Crew, directed by Heidi Schork and Tom Wiklund at the George Conley Elementary School in Roslindale. The mural is on the low, concrete wall bordering the school's paved play area. Portraits of children are painted against a background of the globe. The boys and girls have different skin colors and hair styles, one of them wearing a hijab. Some smile and wave, and others hold flags of different countries, including China, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Mexico, the US, Jamaica, and the Dominican Republic. On the far right and left of the mural are two women, apparently mirror images of each other. They wear blue dresses with pink flower patterns and gaze at the children between them, each one holding a quill pen in one hand and sheets of paper in another.
