Chinese Immigrant Memorial
2007
Memorial altar in the historic Chinese burial grounds of Mount Hope Cemetery. The memorial was designed by Joo Kun Lim of Twinspine Architects with community input. Ng Brothers Construction, Inc. began construction on the memorial in 2006 and the memorial was dedicated in March 2007. The memorial features Chinese calligraphy designed by David Hong Wee Lee. These photos depict the memorial in May 2020.
