Monument in funded by the Boston Police Relief Association in 1876 at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Mattapan. A granite memorial surrounded by bushes at the cemetery depicts a uniformed officer. Beneath the officer, the words on the plaque read "IN MEMORY OF DEPARTED MEMBERS \ ERECTED BY THE \ BOSTON POLICE RELIEF ASSOCIATION \ INCORPORATED 1876".
