Recycling: The Environmentalist's Dream-- A workman driving a forklift prepares to dump a load of beer and soft drink cans into a bin at a Reynolds Metals Co., facility in Los Angeles. The company has opened several redemption centers that pay 10 cents a pound for cans which will be recycled. The Los Angeles center averages 1.5 million cans a month, two per cent of those sold in the area.
