Portrait of a hurdy gurdy player who is blind holding his instrument propped on his left hip and thigh and cranking it with his right hand. The man has tattered cape-like clothing and a thin, frazzled beard. His eyes appear crossed and his mouth is open to display his tongue and several gaped teeth. From the collection of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. Early 17th century.
