This is a nearly complete collection of my original digital artwork, including accompanying writings from 2018 to 2024, arranged in folders by year. Originally only ever shared on deviantArt.com, gradual changes to the site (such as image compression, difficult format, buggy browsing, downright hiding images, political censorship, aggressive monetization, etc) has made it a hostile experience and somewhat inaccessible to me and my friends. Due to instability in my life and severe mental health issues, I feel the need to share my work in a more upstanding way to be at peace and move on to a more mature phase creatively. I'm not putting it here because I'm disowning it or whatnot. The contents, as of now, include nearly 1,500 images and about 250 text files, of varying size and value. I have a warped view of my work--in retrospect, my issues have soured/interrupted a lot of really good concepts--so I cannot tell what amount of intellectual substance is in this collection for certain. I do consider the bulk of it eclectic and well-made--or at the very least attention-grabbing, in positive and negative ways. I'm at a loss for how to describe my art. I do not mean to be aggrandizing by comparing myself to others, but those viewing my work have likened some of it to Nemesis: The Warlock, Warhammer 40,000, Basquiat, Metal Slug, Simon Stalenhag, Syd Mead, the Fallout series, C.M. Kosemen, classical painting, and various 'analog horror' type media. I do take inspiration from some of these as well as real history, nature, technology, and more recently--disturbing visions and visitations. My writing has been called 'visceral' but mostly been compared to nonsensical rambling. I have strong opinions due to the difficulties I have been through. My main drive to create--and to ensure these creations can be shared--comes from how alienated I felt from most art and media, due to life trauma and psychosis. I want to provide my unique perspective on "eldritch madness" and generational violence even if it isn't necessarily a pretty one. My work is often violent, cynical, grim and dark--but I do not necessarily think the world nor nature is intrinsically a grim and dark place. I do not believe that people have an inherent nature or sealed fate. I do not mainly make the things I do for fun, aesthetic or thrill value. Even though I vastly struggle to depict my positive feelings, I want to provide this reassurance because it's what I would've wanted to hear, given how extreme and disturbing some of the content is.
