Ready to film underwater sequences off Bermuda for Air Force movie is Airman Michael Welby (with camera. photo at right) and civilian divers Al Cristoforo, Art Geddes and Don Conroy, all of Hanscom Field, Bedford. Welby (photo below) tows waterfight movie camera after surfacing from Hanscom - built SUBA sub. Two of the subs performed in Bermuda's crystal-clear waters for film depicting capabilities of two surplus wing tanks converted to make underwater searches faster and easier. SCUBA subs are transported in cargo planes.
