Where Hurricane Lurks-Center of a hurricane (cross) described as a “real whizzer” by the federal storm warning service, with winds of 80 to 100 miles an hour, was situated yesterday over the Atlantic Ocean about 1150 miles east-southeast of Miami, and was moving at an estimated speed of 15 miles an hour in a west-northwest of northwest direction (black arrow).
