On the one year anniversary of "Swank in The Arts" Patsy Swank interviews G. William Jones, Founder of the USA Film Festival; Judith Crist, national film critic; and Academy award winning actress, Glenda Jackson. They discuss some of the films in this years festival. Topics of Women's participation in the film industry, smaller films, competition from television, and economic concerns are discussed. At the end of the program, clips from three of the five films nominated for best picture in the Academy Awards are shown. “Swank in the Arts” was KERA’s weekly in-depth arts television program.
