The second segment interviews three Hawaiian artists (air-brush artist Arthur Johnsen, silk screener Janet Holaday, and hotel artist Cal Nary)about their art and the issues they face trying to making a living as artists. The last segment Tribute Carl Wolz records the going away party of the University of Hawaii dance director Carl Wolz. The first segment explores the history of the oldest example of western architecture in Hawaii. Deborah Pope, the education coordiantor for the Mission Houses Museum, explains the design the of the home, the people who lived their, and the impact they had on Hawaii. The next segment explores how ceramiscist, Richard Hart and painter, Hiroshi Tagami, designed their enviornment to complement their lifstyles.
