The second segment, Expressions in Art, discusses the book Me and My Pencil I Can Draw written by school teacher, Gail Howard. She wrote the book to promote her belief that art class should teach the fundamentals and techniques needed to be successful. Artists, parents, and other teachers talk about the success of this method of teaching. The interlude features weaver and Olympic medalist, Mariechen Squeaky Jackson who talks about weaving and her experience in the Olympics. The final segment features several designs by the architect, Norman Lacayo. He discusses his creative process and showcases several structures he designed.
