A photograph of famed entertainer Art Linkletter in a hot air balloon basket. He is leaning on the basket that is currently on the ground. Two other men are in hardhats behind him. A man stands with on foot resting on the basket beside them. Some students stand behind them. The balloon ride was part of the 1969 Work Week festivities on the Springfield College Campus. On the back of this photograph it says, "Work Week 1969 Dr. Art Linkletter, Springfield College trustee, prepares for a balloon flight over the Springfield area to promote Work Week 1969. High winds, however, grounded the balloon before the flight could begin."
