Casella, Alfred P. · [1960?–1971?]
This is an architectural drawing of Springfield College's Dana Fine Arts Center. The drawing shows the front side and main entrance of the center. In the drawing, there are two people standing in front of the center and checking it out and there is a tree behind them. Beside the center and on the left side of the drawing, there is another building that appears to be the Athletic Annex. There also seems to be a car parked behind the Athletic Annex. Below the drawing it says "Springfield College Fine Arts Center". This drawing was probably used for promoting the construction project of the Dana Fine Arts Center before it was built. Dana Fine Arts Center was completed in 1971 and used to be located right behind the Springfield College's Athletic Annex next to the Towne Student Health Center's parking lot. It was used for all art classes that were provided at the College. On the bottom of the drawing it is printed "ALFRED P. CASELLA INC. ARCHITECTS" and the address of the firm, indicating the creator of this drawing.
