Patsy Swank introduces a performance by Alan Kinsley, member of the Dallas Ballet. He will head to Jackson, Mississippi as one of 5 male dancers representing the U.S. in this country's 1st international ballet competition. 75 dancers from all over the world will compete for $55,000 in prize money and for gold, silver and bronze medals.Some other clips of Kensey dancing are shown. “Swank in the Arts” was KERA’s weekly in-depth arts television program.
