The Springfield Museum of Fine Arts (Open Tues.-Sat. 1-4:30, Sun. 2-5, closed Sun. in July and August) was designed by Tilton and Githenerns and opened in 1933. A collection of prints and water colors is on display here. An art library containing pamphlets, prints, and slides is open to the public, and lectures and moving pictures are given at frequent intervals.
