Photography is, according to Adams, as much a profession as law or medicine and demands the same high standards of integrity and dedication. The camera follows Adams as he applies his imagination and techniques to various assignments - industrial photography, advertising photography, portrait photography - and we hear from Adams himself about the problems which the professional photographer must reconcile and solve and the ways in which this can be done. Appearing on this episode with Mr. Adams is Milton Halberstadt, an outstanding commercial photographer in San Francisco.
