How to keep children occupied during summer by exposing them to the Arts. Patsy Swank speaks with the founder of Children's Arts and Education Foundation. Some film footage of the children in the program is shown. In another film potter and clay artist, Mary Klein , works with children helping them to discover art. Other summer activities are represented such as the Dallas Museum of Fine Art outreach bus "Go Van Gogh" and program and William Richardson a professional drummer who works for the city's arts program by teaching children. “Swank in the Arts” was KERA’s weekly in-depth arts television program.
