The picture has been taken in connection with the cultural historical characterization of Långtora church, Långtora socken, Uppland 28 January 2003. The longhouse is arched with late medieval rib vaults. Walls and arches are trimmed and whitewashed. The floor is covered with new brick from the 1950s. The church room has closed bench blocks from the 1950s with gables and doors reused from an older bench interior. The reader in the west is from the later part of the 17th century. On it stands an organ with classicistic facade. Over the altar there is a restoration of the medieval cross window with bricks. The altar ring is wooden with an open balusterprytt railing. The old altar board from 1841 hangs on the south wall of the choir. It is a copy of Fredrik Westin’s famous Ascension of Christ in Kungsholm Church, painted by Erik Wahlbergson. The pulpit in neoclassicism and the associated canopy was added at the same time as the altarpiece. The baptismal cult of the church is of great art historical interest. It is a Romanesque find in Gothic limestone with sculpted heads on the foot. The sacristy is built in the 1950s on the site of the medieval sacristy that had been demolished around 1820.
