The medal is round. The coat of arms laid over two crossed armoured arms holding a sword and crowned with a royal crown. In the shield a lion accompanied by two stars. On the outside a laurel wreath. Inscription: The Regiment of Skaraborg and the Skaraborg Brigade. Band clustered in black and yellow with a white stripe in the middle accompanied by a red stripe on each side. The miniature medal is kept in ash along with a medal.
