The medal is round. In the shield a fortress wall with a gate tower. The shield was crowned with a royal crown and laid over two cross covered canon tubes. On the outside a laurel wreath. Inscription: Norrland Artillery Regiment. A 8. The ribbon is dark red with a wide yellow stripe on the middle of each side accompanied by a blue dash and with orange edges accompanied by a yellow dash. The miniature medal is kept in ash along with a medal and a trailer buckle.
