This object is possibly a small lead votive axe of Roman date, although this identification is not certain. Only the possible head of the axe survives, it is triangular in shape and measures 19.60mm in length, 8.77mm in width and 7.15mm in thickness. It has a circular hole through the centre of the wider end, measuring 3.73mm in diameter. A similar small lead possibly votive axe has been found at Stuston, Suffolk, see SF-BD6BA3.
