ROMAN MINIATURE OBJECT

A cast copper-alloy miniature axe of probable Roman date. It is probably a votive object. The axe has a flat bladed cutting edge set perpendicular to the main body of the axe and the shaft hole. The object has not been seen by the recorder and the identification is from the photograph. Unfortunately it is not possible to obtain accurate measurements.
