Sleepy Cakes

This colored pencil illustration, Sleepy Cakes , is part of my art therapy game, Cake Walk , an interactive nonfiction game that uses cake themes to explore emotional processing, memory, and other aspects that impact mental wellness.  The Sleepy Cakes section encourages players to think about how sleep impacts mental wellness. The game presents four different cakes made from ingredients that promote healthy sleep, such as kiwis, chamomile, cherries, and plant-based milks.  Players can come with new sleepy cakes, create new sleeping routines, keep a sleep log, and engage in other activities to promote healthy sleep and change their relationship to sleep.  © Elissa Capelle Vaughn
